Foils and balayage are both lightening techniques we use in the salon. We use different techniques to create different looks based on the colour you are wanting to achieve. We advertise our foil services as our traditional (to the root) technique.
Our balayage technique is applied off the root, leaving your roots natural and ends lightened. This technique gives you a seamless softer line of regrowth, low-maintenance colour, and longevity between appointments.
-
The technique used for producing balayage requires back to back spliced foils with backcombing and other advanced techniques. This process takes longer to apply to the hair than traditional foil work. Often you will be booked as a standalone appointment with no other client booked while your colour is processing. This service needs our full attention and needs to be checked regularly to ensure the colour reaches the desired level of lift.

Firstly, when selecting the perfect shampoo and conditioner for your hair type, we assess your scalp condition, texture, length, health, and even how you like to style it.
Our incredible range of KMS and Goldwell products offer shampoo and conditioners to assist your hair with dryness, frizziness, hair that’s lacking volume, curls, waves, blonde hair, and much more. Next time you are with your stylist, please don’t hesitate to ask for your personal haircare advice.
-
Depending on your hair texture, length and desired colour, your appointment may or may not cost slightly more dependent upon the amount of colour used during your appointment. For example, lightening 89% of your hair requires a huge amount of lightener. We charge for what we use. If you are a new client or changing your colour, we like to deliver a quote before we begin your service.
